Following the festive break, activities in the Paxton Centre are back in full swing.

Here’s a wee reminder of what’s on offer:

  • Our café is open to the community on Monday and Tuesday from 11am – 2pm, serving teas, coffees, home baking, tasty toasties and delicious homemade soup.
  • Craft classes continue on Monday evening at 7pm and Saturday morning at 10.30am. *
  • The RollerCoasters mobility scooter group will resume their rambles on Tuesday and Thursday at 11am once the weather is a bit more reliable. *
  • Complementary therapist, Alison Graham is available by appointment on Tuesday at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm and 2pm.
  • The Scrap Store is open on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10am till 12 noon.
  • Mindfulness sessions, led by The Mindful Partnership, take place on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm. *
  • Our popular craft workshops are on Thursday mornings from 10.30am till 12 noon and require to be booked. See our Facebook page for details.
  • On Thursday afternoon, the Lower Largo Friendship Group runs a fun programme of activities for young adults with additional support needs. *
  • Vicky Clarke’s art lessons are on Friday from 10am–1pm. *
  • We’re always on the lookout for new volunteers to join Dougie and the gardening team – with times to suit.
  • And finally, our Fire-pit Friday fresh air fanatics meet around the fire on Friday afternoons from 1pm, for a brew and a blether and some fun outdoor pursuits. *
